Awesome App!!! There is a ton of information here and the videos are great. I would highly recommend this App to everyone. The App is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I also found the videos quickly load and are easy to follow. This App is not only great for students and professionals alike but anyone interested in the human body. A+++++

Great application for the Sports medicine oriented Physician or P.A. Clear, concise instructions on performing the tests, and linked video demonstrations. Fabulous. Great reference tool to make sure you are performing the test as originally described. Only medical application that I have purchased, that is actually worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I recently purchased Clinical Orthopeadic Exam and found it incredibly useful. For the time sensitive evidence based world we practice in it helps keep me on track when faced with challenging patient evaluations. It gives me the most clinically relevant information up front, citing examination test techniques with known sensitivity and specificity values, clear and concise instructions, references and even a video. Navigating through the APP is very intuitive as well. Over all a must have for every clinician and student.

This application is a superb resource for health care workers who are interested in performing pertinent physical exam tests properly, and understanding their validity based on the current medical literature. It is a tool that allows the user to quickly review how to carry out the various described tests on any joint or the spine with written instructions and video links. Each test has a properties page with a statistical summary of its sensitivity, specificity and likelihood ratios, as well as links to the source abstract via PubMed. This compendium is appropriate for therapists, primary care providers as well as orthopaedic surgeons, and especially valuable for students and residents eager to acquire these critical skills.

This is a great app. I teach physical therapy students and will recommend it to my students. The videos are a nice addition and very helpful. Most importantly is the evidence that is provided with each test. This app is useful to all from novice to expert. I whole-heartedly recommend it.

This is an excellent tool for students, residents and physicians in practice. I am a practicing pediatrician, so I dont perform these exams every day. It is so helpful to review the proper exam technique as well as the evidence in the literature to help interpret exam findings. This is one of only a small handful of medical apps that is actually relevant to daily practice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The app needs internet connecttion to watch videos. Only text without internet. I think some additional pictures that make it better since It costs so high!

Got it when it was free. Extensive documentation but not a lot of substance or videos.

CORE is an excellent resource for those that see a variety of clinical scenarios. The easy access via my phone, choose from body schematic, clear test summary and visual resources are well integrated. I could see CORE useful to clinicians, students, and others in outpatient and other practice settings. Great job!

I found that this is a great app that has a lot of utility and is easy to use. It can be usefull to the begining clinician and also a seasoned clnician that may not treat a certain area that often, like the hand. Also being in an evidenced based format makes it easier to know you are using reliable test without having to look it up somewhere else.

Great program! Very user friendly! Will be even nicer when its optimized for the iPad! Please update soon and I will use even more often on my iPad!!

This app covers it all for clinical testing of musculoskeletal system. Easy to use format along with the videos helps the busy clinican to access relevant evidence based tests to plan an evaluation to give you the most bang for the limited time you have with patients. This is a great app! It very intuitively organized via a body chart, it includes instructions and videos of a ton of special tests, and even includes psychometric properties of the various tests based on current research. Evidenced based apps like this are likely the wave of the future in medicine....

This app is really handy. Im a PT student about to start an orthopedic clinical rotation and I can tell Im going to use it frequently. I was waiting for an app like this to come out and it was perfect timing. All those special tests I learned are easily accessible in an intuitive format. Theres even new material that I havent seen before - really cool. The videos work great and all the test explanations are easy to read and up to date with current practice. Im so pumped about being able to whip this out right before seeing a patient so Im sure of what to do and how to do it.

wow... what a time saver! nice to have on you in the clinic when you want a quick refresher on a technique, diagnostic values, or the research. My colleagues look to me as the go to guy for their random ortho questions. This app has helped me and many others!

FYI - I use this app on my iPhone. If you are a medical professional with a smart phone who treats patients with orthopedic conditions, you will love this app. It is a concise, user-friendly application that provides detailed information about diagnostic special tests. The links to information on the tests psychometric properties and the videos on how to perform the tests are what really make this app fantastic. Theres no more wondering how good a special test is or if youre doing it the right way. With this app, you will have that information in the palm of your hand. I have shown this app to all of my colleagues who have all been blown away at the detailed information you get. If you are concerned about the price, consider the cost equivalent to purchasing a text. However, textbooks are cumbersome, outdated, and more expensive.
